Mentions By Source #
- Mentions by Source – The pie chart shows the distribution of sources for all mentions, highlighting the variety of platforms contributing to the data. This helps identify patterns and trends based on these sources. Note that every mention in the chart has a source.
- Mentions by Source Over Time – This chart displays the number of mentions your brand has received across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) over a selected period. Each platform is represented by a different color, making it easy to distinguish between sources.
- Reading the Data –The height of each point represents the number of mentions on a particular date. The chart’s x-axis represents the timeline (e.g., days or weeks), while the y-axis shows the number of mentions.
- Hovering for Detailed Information – Place your mouse cursor over any of the colored lines in the chart. When you hover over a line, a tooltip will appear, providing detailed information about that specific data point. For instance, hovering over a bar might show:
- The date of the mentions.
- The exact number of mentions for each platform on that date.
Mention Time Distribution #
- Mention Time Distribution Chart – The Mention Time Distribution chart provides a visual representation of when your brand or topic is most frequently mentioned across different time periods. This chart helps you understand the peak times of engagement and activity related to your content.
- Axis – Horizontal Represents the days of the week (Monday to Sunday) Vertical Axis Represents the time of day (in 2-hour intervals).
- Color- Coded Squares The color of each square indicates the volume of mentions during that specific time period.
- Reading the Chart – Look for areas with darker or more saturated colors to identify times with higher mention volumes. Compare the intensity of colors across different days to understand daily trends. Observe if there are significant variations in mention volume between weekdays and weekends.
- Detailed Information – Hovering over a specific square display additional details such as the exact number of mentions or other relevant metrics.
Authors Section #
- A: By Mentions – This represents the total number of mentions attributed to each source. B: By Influences – This represents the influence score associated with each source.
- Author Analysis Chart – Each segment of the pie chart represents a different author. Different colors are used to distinguish between authors. The size of each segment indicates the percentage of total posts made by that author.
- Author analysis Influence Score Chart – When “By Influences” is selected, the chart segments reflect the influence score, which might consider factors like the reach or impact of the mentions from each source.
- Selective Authors Chart – Next to the pie chart, there’s a dropdown menu labeled “Select authors”. This dropdown lets you choose which authors’ data you want to include or exclude from the analysis. The chart will display the voice (contribution) of both selected and non-selected authors based on their assigned influence scores. The influence score determines the size of each segment in the pie chart, showing how much impact each author has.
- Column Selection – Allows users to customize the view by selecting which columns to display. Users can choose from metrics like mention count, influence score, sentiment analysis, or engagement rates, depending on what is most relevant for their analysis.
- Column Sorting – Enables sorting data within the table by various metrics. Users can sort authors by mention count to see who is most frequently mentioned, or by influence score to identify the most.
- Search – Provides a search function to quickly locate specific authors within the table. Users can enter names or keywords to filter results, which is particularly useful for handling large datasets or focusing on particular individuals.
